Bricks and Cobblestones

Let’s use some of those 2 1/2” strips laying around. Any colors, use mainly solids.

This is so fast and so easy.  Have Fun!

Please use only 2 colors per block.  Use mainly solids but some prints will work! 

 Let’s keep this one MODERN

  1.  COBBLESTONES:  Sew a 2 1/2” square to the opposite sides of a different color 2 1/2” square.      Sew a 2 1/2 x 6 1/2” strip above and below the center strip.

2.  BRICKS:  Center row:  Cut one (2 1/2” x 8 1/2”) center strip  and place a second color  of 2 1/2 by 2 1/2″ on each end of the strip.  Add a strip cut 2 1/2″ x 12 1/2″  above and below the center strip.  This strip is the same color as the 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” piece.  See diagram 

 DO NOT TRIM BLOCKS!
