Philanthropy Quilt

donation quilt resizePhilanthropy quilt donated to Yerba Buena Elementary School

The Kindergarten class had a classmate who was diagnosed with cancer and was scheduled to undergo chemotherapy. They contacted the guild to make a quilt using twenty-four squares of the children’s handprints.  Lily Ann’s favorite colors are blue, yellow, and pink.  The quilt went together quickly so that it could go with Lily Ann to her chemotherapy appointments covered with the love of her classmates.
If anyone has a quilt they would like to donate for philanthropy purposes, we will be collecting them in the future.  If you know someone who needs a quilt, contact one of the board members.
